Why Facility-Level, Not Site Totals
The carbon data that prime contractors, overseas buyers, and lenders ask for is getting more granular. It used to be enough to report your site's annual emissions. Now the questions are about specific products and processes, and a site-wide total can't answer them.
A facility-level inventory breaks emissions down by source: boilers, drying ovens, air compressors, chillers, and so on. With that breakdown, you can see which equipment has the most room for reduction and decide where to invest first.

The 2026 Program: What You Get
The Korea Energy Agency's Industrial GHG Inventory Program serves sites run by small and mid-sized companies. In 2026, 133 sites are taking part, 55 of them new this year.
The program also runs industry-specific tracks, including an inventory partnership for the textile sector and a track with the Korea International Trade Association that runs from training through ESG assessment. Export-heavy companies should check these tracks first.
