A system for official recognition as an R&D organization by registering with KOITA (Korea Industrial Technology Association). Small companies within 3 years of founding can establish one with just 2 or more dedicated researchers, using a simple registration system rather than approval. Recommended as the first certification to obtain as it serves as the foundation for other certifications.
Venture Company Certification
A certification granted to SMEs recognized for technological innovation and business growth potential. Classified into venture investment type, R&D type, and innovative growth type, with the R&D type being advantageous for companies with corporate research labs. Certification is valid for 3 years and renewable.
Inno-Biz Certification
A certification system for technology-innovative SMEs, targeting companies with 3 or more years of operation. Comprehensively evaluates four areas: technology innovation, technology commercialization, technology innovation management, and technology innovation results, with on-site inspections by KIBO (Korea Technology Finance Corporation).
Main-Biz Certification
A certification system for management-innovative SMEs, targeting companies with 3 or more years of operation. Comprehensively evaluates management innovation capability, commercialization capability, and technology innovation capability, with reviews conducted by the Korea Association of Innovation SMEs.
ISO International Standard Certification
Supports acquisition of international certifications established by ISO (International Organization for Standardization) including quality management (ISO 9001), environmental management (ISO 14001), and information security management (ISO 27001).
NEP / NET / Green Certification
Supports acquisition of technology and product certifications including New Excellent Product (NEP), New Excellent Technology (NET), and green technology/green business certifications. NEP/NET certifications enable sole-source contracts with public institutions, greatly helping secure initial sales channels.
