It consolidates previously fragmented services — smart factory applications, self-diagnosis, supplier matching, and manufacturing data analytics — into a single gateway, allowing SMEs to manage the entire AI adoption journey in one place.
The launch follows a major reorganization: the former Smart Manufacturing Innovation Promotion Group has been expanded into the AI Innovation Promotion Group, shifting policy focus from basic automation to AI- and data-driven manufacturing innovation (AX, AI Transformation). The government has committed to building a cumulative 12,000 smart factories by 2030, with over 30% classified as advanced level, and Manufacturing AI 24 serves as the execution hub of this roadmap.

1. Unified Smart Factory Application Gateway
Application intake, self-diagnosis (AX maturity assessment), consultant matching, and project settlement are all managed under a single account. Previously, applicants had to navigate KS certification bodies, TIPA, and regional Technoparks separately; the new platform is expected to cut average processing time by 30–40%.
2. Manufacturing Data Analytics Service
Data collected from MES, ERP, and IoT-connected equipment is sent to the cloud, where standardized algorithms automatically diagnose defect causes, equipment utilization, and energy efficiency, delivering reports back to the company.
