2026 Policy Fund Supply Scale
Korea's Ministry of SMEs and Startups has announced its 2026 SME policy fund operation plan. It will supply a total of KRW 4.4313 trillion, consisting of KRW 4.0643 trillion in direct loans and KRW 367 billion in interest subsidies on private financial institution loans (on a supply basis).

Concentrated Supply Outside the Capital Region
To promote balanced regional development and innovation among non-capital-region companies, the government will concentrate 60% or more (KRW 2.44 trillion or more) of the KRW 4.06 trillion policy fund pool in regions outside the Seoul metropolitan area. Companies based outside the capital region can leverage this relatively favorable allocation structure.
New: Policy Fund Navigator
A newly introduced "Policy Fund Navigator" system recommends the most suitable fund when a company enters basic information such as company age, closure status, export performance, and intended use of funds. Companies unsure which fund category fits them should try this tool before applying.
